Never
overpay
For a small fee, buy a FareLock on today's fare after you book. If the price drops, you cash out the difference. If it rises, you can rest assured knowing you already got the best price.

What one FareLock looks like.
You already booked the flight. Here is what a FareLock does if the fare moves — with numbers from a real route.
Atlanta (ATL) to Los Angeles (LAX)
- You booked at
- $328
- FareLock fee
- $10.06
- FareLock lasts
- Until departure
- Fare later
- $253
- Paid to You
- $75
You exercise the FareLock and we pay the drop, up to $164.
The FareLock pays nothing. You already have your ticket.
At departure we settle the FareLock for you — same rules, no action needed.
A FareLock is an American option on a fare you already paid: a set strike, exercisable any time before a deadline at departure. So we price it with an option model, not a flat markup.
Questions people ask first.
What happens if the fare goes up after I buy a FareLock?
The FareLock pays nothing. You already have your ticket, so a rising fare does not hurt you.
What if the fare drops instead?
You exercise the FareLock and we pay the drop, up to 50% of the fare. Your only other cost is the FareLock fee.
What if I never exercise?
At departure we settle the FareLock for you — same payout rules, no action needed.
How is the FareLock fee worked out?
A FareLock is priced like an option. The fee depends on how much the fare tends to move and how long is left until the flight.
